Responsibilities:
- Assist with supervising day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Support front desk, housekeeping, and other departmental staff when there is a manpower shortage.
- Inspect the hotel room upon guest check-out.
- Check for any items left behind by the guest.
- Assess the overall condition of the room, including checking for any damages or broken items.
- Monitor or assist the cleaning/housekeeping team with tasks such as cleaning the kitchen, toilet, and bedrooms.
- Re-check the unit's condition after the cleaning is completed.
- Inspect the linen to ensure cleanliness (no stains, etc.) after the room is ready.
- After resting, ensure staff continue with any remaining tasks.
- Organize and arrange linen, clean the vacuum cleaner.
- Check the stock of soap, cleaning supplies, and other related items.
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the hotel/hospitality industry
- Basic in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is an added advantage
- Knowledge in Excel, Words and other computer skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
