We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Central Kitchen Operations Coordinator to oversee the seamless day-to-day operations of our central kitchen facility. This critical role ensures optimal inventory management, quality control, and regulatory compliance while supporting our growing network of food establishments.
Key Responsibilities
Raw Material Management & Procurement
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and verification of incoming deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality specifications, and item descriptions
- Monitor and verify expiration dates to maintain food safety standards and minimize waste
- Maintain accurate real-time inventory records through systematic stock card updates
- Collaborate with production teams to forecast weekly raw material requirements and optimize procurement planning
- Support supplier sourcing initiatives and facilitate onboarding processes for new vendors
Distribution & Logistics Coordination
- Oversee outgoing delivery operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and quality standards
- Process and update completed purchase orders in the system efficiently
- Coordinate with internal logistics teams and third-party delivery partners to ensure timely and reliable distribution to all outlets
Facility Management & Compliance
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal and external technical teams
- Supervise maintenance work completion and authorize service orders upon satisfactory completion
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), Halal certification requirements, and local food safety regulations
- Maintain the highest standards of facility cleanliness and operational hygiene
Additional Responsibilities
- Support special projects and initiatives as directed by the Central Kitchen Head and senior management
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in operational efficiency and cost optimization
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in central kitchen operations or large-scale food production environments
- Certifications & Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 22000, and Halal certification standards
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Food Market Hub (FMH) system
- Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication skills
