Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and government authorities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key agencies including but not limited to:
- Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI)
- Ministry of Health (MOH)
- Ministry of Industry
- Investment Authority
- Ministry of Science and Technology
- Land Department
- Ministry of Agriculture and National Food Security
- National Energy Development Agency
- Support internal departments by facilitating regulatory approvals, licenses, and permits.
- Monitor and interpret government policies and initiatives that may impact the company’s operations and growth.
- Draft official correspondence, briefing materials, and reports for submission to relevant authorities.
- Advise management on public policy trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Attend industry events, forums, or consultations representing the company’s interests.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in or with government agencies or regulatory bodies.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian governmental structure, processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple engagements with public stakeholders.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
