Financial Operations
- Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure timely, accurate entry into accounting systems.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure that accounting records and systems comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and assist with monitoring budget performance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial standards, and relevant government reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
- Maintain and review internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure timely submission of audited financial statements to regulatory bodies.
Support to Management
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and business planning.
- Assist in financial modeling and scenario planning for new initiatives or operational changes.
- Ensure the company’s financial operations align with short-term and long-term goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Solid knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in both Mandarin and English
