You will be responsible for shaping and delivering impactful training and HR initiatives that support our people and our business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and review the entire training cycle — from identifying needs to evaluating results.
- Develop and deliver diverse programs, including onboarding, leadership development, service excellence, compliance, and skill-building workshops.
- Manage HRDC-claimable courses and ensure all claims meet procedural requirements.
- Monitor training participation, outcomes, and ROI, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Partner with department leaders to ensure training supports business priorities.
- Source, coordinate, and manage both internal and external trainers to achieve quality learning experiences.
- Organize employee engagement events that foster a collaborative and motivated workplace.
- Provide HR support in recruitment, workforce planning, and employee/industrial relations matters.
- Administer performance management processes — setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and guiding improvement plans.
- Keep HR policies up to date with current laws and company standards.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen staff engagement, retention, and overall team effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
- Solid background in HR and training program management.
- In-depth understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and HRDC requirements.
- Confident in facilitation, presentation, and coaching.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to start at short notice is an advantage.
