2nd Street is the most popular reused shop with more than 1,000 stores worldwide. We are opening 50 new stores per year. High-quality products and retail mechanism that we cultivated over the years helps us to support operating our 1,000 stores. With our original method of selling, we provide high quality second-hand clothing from Japan to many customers in Malaysia.
What you'll be doing:
1. Completing minor repair work, including repairing doors, locks, door frames, and handles and replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, and window glass.
2. Performing basic plumbing tasks, including unclogging drains and fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
3. Inspecting control panels and electrical wiring to detect any issues that require immediate attention.
4. Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.
5. Diagnoses and troubleshoot issues
6. Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to the Manager.
7. Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good order.
8. Comply with all safety and health regulations
9. Perform other duties as requested by Top Management
What we're looking for:
1. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from Manager
2. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time: ability to bend, kneel, stoop and lift or move heavy equipment
3. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents
4. Proven general maintenance experience (added advantage)
