Job Responsibilities
- Perform site surveying and setting-out works in accordance with project requirements.
- Establish and manage grid control points, including horizontal and vertical controls.
- Conduct surveys for existing ground levels, formation levels, and finished levels.
- Check, verify, and ensure accuracy of alignment, levels, and dimensions at site.
- Review and interpret survey drawings, specifications, and calculate survey requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with licensed surveyors for boundary line and gridline verification when required.
- Prepare, maintain, and update survey reports, records, and as-built drawings.
- Monitor and ensure all surveying equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Work closely with the project team to provide technical input and support construction activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience in construction / land surveying (fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may be considered).
- Proficient in using surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc.) and software (AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Good understanding of survey drawings, engineering drawings, and construction specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess good communication and reporting skills.
- Location: Batu Kawan, Penang.
