The Human Resource Executive (Mandarin Speaker) plays a key role in supporting HR functions within a dynamic retail or FMCG environment. This role involves handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and coordination of training activities, while ensuring alignment with company policies and labor regulations. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking employees, suppliers, or regional stakeholders.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resource Executive to join our team in the Retail/FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will have solid HR operational experience, especially in payroll and HRIS, and be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Maintain and update employee information in HRIS systems (preferably Rymnet HRMS and SuccessFactors).
- Support full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, leave management, performance appraisal, and employee relations.
- Handle employee inquiries and support day-to-day HR operations.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance with labor laws and internal standards.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports, analysis, and audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business needs and HR initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a Retail or FMCG environment.
- Proficient in payroll administration and experienced with HRIS systems, particularly Rymnet HRMS and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Able to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to converse in Chinese dialects is an advantage.
- Pleasant personality, responsible, mature, and detail oriented.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
