Job Responsibilities:
HR
- Handle end-to-end recruitment process for direct labor.
- Support monthly payroll processing by update data,. compiling attendance, leave data, statutory contributions and maintain accurate records.
- Handle monthly performance appraisal including confirmation, increment and etc.
- Organize and coordinate training programs including orientation programs.
- Support the handling of employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Prepare HR-related reports such as headcount, turnover, and leave reports.
- Responsible for foreign worker management such as application, documentation, clearance, passport renewal, permit renewal, hostel, FOMEMA, medical issue, injury and all related foreign workers issues.
- Responsible for administrative tasks such as stationary, waste disposal management, medical management, worker transport, water dispenser, vending machines and others.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Environment, Health & Safety:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the facility.
- Lead incident and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOSH or local occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain safety-related documentation, including reports, permits, and training records.
- Coordinate and conduct safety training and toolbox meetings for employees.
- Respond to workplace accidents by coordinating first aid and ensuring employees receive timely medical treatment, including transporting injured workers to the hospital when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in ESH performance.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, noise, and water discharge.
- Liaise with government authorities and ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., DOE) and company policies.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of working experience in HR & safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH (Green Book Holder) or local regulatory body is required.
- Familiar with local EHS laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOSH, DOE, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Familiar with payroll system is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
