Position Title: Finance Executive

Salary Range: RM 3,500 – RM 4,500/month (Negotiable)
Location: MPMSB Headquarters, Cyberjaya, Selangor
1. Position Purpose
The Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the Finance Department in managing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing timely management reports. This role is critical to strengthening financial governance, cash flow management, and operational efficiency.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system.
2.2 Cash Flow & Treasury
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and monitor bank balances.
- Process payments to suppliers, service providers, and statutory bodies.
- Liaise with banks on financing matters, fund transfers, and account queries.
2.3 Compliance & Audit
- Ensure timely submission of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and SST filings.
- Assist in external and internal audit processes, preparing required schedules and reconciliations.
- Maintain compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Income Tax Act 1967, and other applicable legislation.
2.4 Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor budget utilisation and provide variance analysis to management.
2.5 Process Improvement & Control
- Assist in reviewing and improving financial processes to enhance efficiency and internal control.
- Implement company policies and procedures in line with Section B and Section D of the HR Policy.
3. Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or progress towards certification is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in a corporate finance or audit environment is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Working Conditions
- Office-based, standard working hours (9 am to 5 pm from Monday – Friday).
- May require occasional extended hours during month-end closing, audits, or budget preparation.
- Compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
