Job Description:
Responsible for import / export customer end-to-end services including:
- Attend to customer enquiries / emails regarding import or exports
- Request for quotations from transporters/carrier/surveyors
- Coordinate with shipper/shipping agent/carrier/haulier & related parties on the planning & arrangement of the shipment
- Liaise with Operations team on documents and cargoes that are expected for stuffing/ loading
- Preparation of draft Bill of Lading
- Declaration customs form eg: K1 / K2 / K3 / K8
- Application of port approvals
- Follow-up deliveries and launch corrective actions in case of issue
- Prepare shipping documents (prepare Certificates of Origin for specific customers only )
- Manage & monitor progress of shipment activities, coordinate the progress of job with contractors, suppliers, drivers and customers
- Prepare costing of shipment timely
- Act as a backup for Department in the absence of team member(s)
- Any other ad-hoc assignment according to business needs
- Prepare & submit applications e.g. Sirim, Fumigation, etc
- Liaise with dispatch clerk and courier on daily requirements of urgent mail
- Any other duties that the Management may assign form time to time
Job Requirements:
- Malaysian Citizen
- Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, an added advantage
- Experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry
- Familiar with import & export documentations, customs procedures
- To be able to answer or handle customers’ shipping enquiries, request and complaints professionally
- Must have good command of spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Must possess good writing skills especially through emails
- Pleasant personality, outgoing, positive attitude and customer service oriented
- Able to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with other team members
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
