Customer Service Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end import logistics, including shipment coordination, customs compliance, and documentation. Ensures cost control, timely delivery, and smooth communication between suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate rates and ensure efficient service.
- Manage and verify shipping documentation (e.g, bill of lading, certificates of origin, customs paperwork).
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs, import controls, and trade compliance.
- Work closely with customs brokers to clear shipments and resolve any issues arising during customs processes.
- Stay updated on changes in import regulations and implement necessary process adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, financial transactions, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage and control import-related costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency in shipping and handling.
- Prepare reports on shipping costs and collaborate with finance teams on budget management.
- Identify potential risks in the shipping process and develop solutions to prevent delays, including rerouting or alternative logistics providers.
- Resolve shipment-related issues, such as delays, damaged goods, or documentation discrepancies.
- Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, logistics providers, internal departments, and customers regarding shipments.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on shipment status.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills / Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in any field.
- In-depth knowledge of import regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in shipping software, tracking tools, and documentation systems..
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities to manage complex logistics challenges.

08.30am- 18.00pm (Mon-Fri)

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
