RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION
Responsible for assisting in the preparation, baking, and presentation of bakery items in accordance with established recipes, hygiene standards, and production schedules. This role supports the bakery team in maintaining product consistency, quality, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings for breads, pastries, and cakes.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and sheeters safely and efficiently.
- Portion and shape bakery items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Support mise en place for daily production and special orders.
- Follow HACCP, Halal, and internal food safety standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and finished products.
- Report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
- Support outlet replenishment and packing of baked goods for delivery or display.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Physically fit to handle standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
