Lim Chambers, a respected and award-winning legal firm, is hiring a full-time Admin & General Legal Clerk for our Johor office. This role supports daily operations and legal administrative work. We're seeking someone dependable, detail-oriented, and tech-comfortable — ideal for those aiming for a stable position in a structured legal environment.
Key Responsibilities: Administrative & Legal Support:
- Handle daily office tasks: filing, scanning, printing, bundling of court documents.
- Prepare basic legal correspondence, letters, and forms.
- Manage the meeting room and coordinate client appointments.
- Liaise with dispatch or runner for delivery to court, government offices, or clients.
- Track court hearing dates, deadlines, and key case updates using our internal system.
System & Billing Support (CoreMatter):
- Create new client contact records in CoreMatter.
- Assist with inputting legal disbursements and activities into the system.
- Prepare draft invoices for review by the finance team.
- Update invoice status and forward to clients upon approval.
(Full financial reconciliation and tax filings are not required — handled by the finance team.)
Requirements:
- SPM/STPM/Diploma qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in administrative work (legal field is an advantage).
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and learning new systems like CoreMatter.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are a plus.
- A valid car license is preferred for occasional errands or court-related tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: RM1,700.00 – RM3,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
