RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs and analyses electrical system includes HV, MV and LV.
- Perform feasibility studies and testing for new and upgrade existing design
- Able to work independently to develop a new electrical design includes calculations
- Involvement in design optimization and T&C process
- Provides detailed design includes layout, schematic diagram, calculations, simulations, SOP, EOP, MOP and T&C documents.
- Monitor maintenance activities to the highest quality level of planification, preparation, execution, and reporting.
- Perform and monitor the full reliability of the infrastructures with the focus on continuity of services, energy efficiency and budgetary constraints.
- Problem solver to all facilities related problem included efficiency, monitoring, heat exchanger
- To oversee and optimize on Data center operating efficiency include PUE, DCIE, corrective maintenance cost and life cycle planning.
- Oversee on planned preventive maintenance program and effectiveness measurement.
- Provide technical support to all aspects of data center operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data center operation to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.
- Capacity planning, asset management validation and resources management.
- Oversee onsite incident response, problem resolution, and change management process to support client needs
- Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP), method of procedures (MOP), and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical
environments, as well as the formal change control process. - Oversee the client facing Project deployment
- Ensures compliancy to the legislations on the daily operations/engineering activity
- Build up a trustful customer relationship within the operations team
- Support regular audit activity by implement policies and procedures to ensure meet compliance requirements.
- Support sales on potential deal
- Manage vendors and contractors to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency (safety, cost, equipment lead time, and reliability) and to maintain the Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure per data center industrial best practices
- Implement, enforce, maintain, control work flows and processes within the data centre.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical, mechanical or technology related.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint intermediate level.
- Independence with strong leadership and team player
- Experience in Data center facilities operations and maintenance.
- Data center project management and T&C hand-on experiences
- Self-driven, positive attitude, and team player.
- Experienced in Data Centre critical systems, including diesel generators, UPS systems, fuel systems, HT/LT switchgear, power distribution equipment, chillers, computer room air handlers, fire detection/suppression and building monitoring system
- Familiar with data center required compliance ISO27001, PCIDSS, ISO50001, SS564, SOC1/2, Local authorities and industry best practice will benefit.
- Experiences with involvement in Data center construction from green field / brown field, Uptime TIER topology design and project management.
- At least 4 years’ experience in relevant Facilities Management within Data Center.
- Operations or certified by relevant Data center professional training.
