About the role
We are seeking a skilled Account Assistant to join our team at A E Stamp Sdn Bhd in Bandar Sri Damansara, Selangor. As an Account Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of accounts payable for the organosation.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
- Processing invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations
- Providing administrative support to the Accounting team as needed
What we're looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as an Account Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity
