About our client:
Our client is a leading law firm specializing in high-end property development, offering legal services to top-tier developers and investors. Their practice is focused on complex sale and purchase agreements and loan transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Handle payment processing, including cheque issuance, online banking transactions, and preparation of payment vouchers.
- Monitor cash flow and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
- Maintain and update company records, documents, and filing systems.
- Oversee general office administration, including procurement of office supplies, insurance matters, and utilities management.
- Prepare and submit SST reports and other statutory filings in a timely manner.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
