Job Description:
1. Passenger assistance:
- Greet passengers and provide assistance examples with check-in procedures, baggage handling, and other relevant airport processes.
- Guide passengers through security checks and ensure compliance with airport regulations.
2. Information provision:
- Offer accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, gate changes, boarding procedures, and other relevant details.
- Assist passengers with general inquiries, such as airport facilities, transportation options, and amenities.
3. Complaint resolution:
- Address and resolve passenger concerns, complaints, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other airport departments to resolve more complex problems or escalate issues as necessary.
4. Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with passengers, airline staff, and other airport personnel such as updating flight information display system and answering phone calls.
- Make announcements over the public address system as needed such as announcement for arrival flight.
5. Lost and found:
- Assist passengers in locating lost items and coordinate with the airport's lost and found department.
6. Team collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other airport staff and departments to ensure a seamless passenger experience.
- Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed about airport updates and changes.
7. Adherence to policies and regulations:
- Ensure compliance with airport security regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Stay informed about changes in airport policies and communicate updates to passengers as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Minimum SPM/STPM/SKM certificate or diploma/advanced/higher/graduate diploma, post graduate diploma in Tourism, Hotel Management, Customer Services or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field (tourism, hotel management, customer services).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, training will be provided.
Skills:
- Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Knowledge in use of spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software
- Good communication skill
