Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our wellness business. This is a junior-level position perfect for someone eager to take initiative and prove themselves in the digital marketing space. The ideal candidate will be confident in crafting compelling stories, shooting high-quality content, editing videos and images, and publishing across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Oversee and manage our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Develop engaging, creative, and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts that enlighten audiences and promote wellness-focused brand messages
- Create strong written posts with excellent grammar and spelling that capture audience attention and drive engagement
- Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality visual content including photos, videos, and stories that align with our wellness brand values
Strategy & Collaboration
- Coordinate social media messaging with marketing departments, brand managers, and align with quarterly or seasonal business goals
- Work collaboratively with team members, including copywriters and other content creators on various projects
- Partner with other departments to develop social media timelines that coincide with new wellness program launches, promotional campaigns, or other brand initiatives
- Collaborate with visual media designers to create exciting, engaging content that helps achieve business objectives
Analytics & Optimization
- Audit and analyze social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, including e-commerce integration and digital advertising performance
- Analyze and report on content performance, examining key performance indicators and content types to make strategic recommendations
- Monitor and develop comprehensive reports on competitor activity across all platforms
- Track commercial transactions through social commerce features and evaluate digital advertising costs and returns
Industry Knowledge & Growth
- Stay current with all social media developments, including platform updates, legal changes, new features, and emerging platforms
- Keep abreast of wellness industry trends and incorporate them into social media strategy
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices in social media marketing
