As a Sales Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Shah Alam, you will lead an exceptionally dedicated sales team to achieve world-class results! We are looking for an ambitious individual to manage and grow our routine laboratory supply businesses within the assigned territories in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and handle the business for Fisher Scientific within assigned territories in Malaysia, aligning with the company's strategies and plans.
- Lead and develop direct sales teams, crafting and driving go-to-market strategies to cover end-user markets in the assigned territories.
- Manage and develop sub-channel partners, growing the channel business for FSM in Malaysia. Plan, identify, and market specific products through sub-channels according to overall company strategies.
- Manage Research & Safety Market Division Malaysia (RSD MY) or Fisher Scientific Malaysia (FSM) initiatives by coordinating with consultants, end-users, and project managers.
- Ensure overall business growth by bringing to bear Thermo Fisher Scientific's comprehensive solutions and strategic partnerships with third-party vendors.
- Align and work within the main strategies of the company, focusing on Key Accounts, Vertical Markets, and Key Products.
- Manage the Sales Team to ensure annual revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
- Meet personal revenue and profitability targets.
Other Responsibilities
- Develop and tap into relationships with strategic partners to grow the business.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to develop regional product strategies, focusing on key accounts.
- Work closely with the Marketing support team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for the region.
- Leverage teamwork with colleagues from other commercial teams to develop new markets and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Support teams, including Warehouse/Distribution & Transportation, IT & Digital Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, to develop effective business support practices and strategies.
- Participate with the management team to ensure motivation and implementation of management plans and strategies.
- Ensure active participation of the assigned department in company activities.
- Ensure all businesses in the region align with company guidelines and acquire all relevant qualifications, including FCPA agreements, GTC compliances, distribution agreements, and confidentiality agreements, in accordance with government guidelines, including MDA requirements.
