Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
- Provide information on products, promotions, and store policies.
- Address customer queries and resolve any complaints in a polite and professional manner.
- Ensure customers have a pleasant shopping experience, fostering loyalty.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the store's product offerings.
- Advise customers on product features, benefits, and usage to help them make informed decisions.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
Merchandising and Stock Management:
- Ensure shelves, displays, and racks are well-organized and visually appealing.
- Assist with product restocking and inventory management, ensuring shelves are replenished as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and report low or out-of-stock items to the manager.
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring correct items and quantities are received.
- Check product quality and ensure that items on display are in good condition.
- Assist in setting up seasonal or promotional displays to drive sales.
Sales Transactions:
- Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and according to company policies.
- Ensure all receipts and invoices are accurate and provided to customers.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of sales and retail operations.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Team-oriented but able to work independently.
- 5/6 Work Days a week depending on shift.
