Job Description
Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a leadership role responsible for overseeing sales operations, driving revenue growth, and managing a sales team within a designated geographic region. Responsibility of this role as follows :
- Responsible for the sales strategy and its execution which involving the implementation of regional sales plan, identifying new business opportunities and analyzing the market trends and competitors’ activity.
- Responsibility for the turnover and Profit&Loss for an assigned sales area within a country/region.
- Leadership of Area Sales Manager (ASM) and (Business Development Manager (BDM) team where applicable) with ownership of resource and capacity allocation within assigned sales area.
- Act as escalation point internally and externally for ASM team (and BDM team where applicable)
- Identification/acquisition of new dealers and development of existing customer portfolio within assigned sales area.
- Ensure correct deployment of T&C and pricing within frameworks and ensure distribution penetration and listings growth.
- Communicate and implement cross business units marketing activities across assigned sales area.
- Monitor sales metrics of the team and prepare regular reports for senior management on regional performance and forecast.
- Collaboration with marketing, product and operation team to align strategies and ensure customer needs are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-6 years of working experience in sales and candidate with relevant working experience related to Power Tools industry will be added advantage.
- Proven track record of generating new business and rapid revenue growth with excellent value selling and negotiation skills.
- Flexible, resilient problem solver with strong assertiveness and persuasion skills, who is enthusiastic about latest technological development changes and ability to leverage those for proposing technical solutions with the team in order to meet customer's objective.
- Excellence communication skills in the area of negotiation, presentations and interpersonal.
- Experience in leading a team is highly considered.
- High frequency in traveling is needed.
