Role Overview
We're expanding our national presence and are currently hiring Sales Representatives to lead sales efforts in the Northern Region, East Coast, and Sabah & Sarawak. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with local farmers and agri-partners, grow your territory, and eventually lead your own regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Sentara Group’s organic fertilizer products to farmers, plantations, cooperatives, and distributors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners in your assigned region.
- Provide basic product training and after-sales support to customers (we’ll train you).
- Visit farms, plantations, and distributors frequently — expect regular field travel.
- Identify and onboard new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Represent Sentara Group at agricultural events and trade shows.
- Report sales performance and regional feedback directly to the Sales General Manager.
Requirements
- Prior experience in agriculture, fertilizer sales, or rural marketing is a plus.
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages (e.g., Hokkien, Iban, Kadazan) are a bonus, especially for Sabah & Sarawak.
- Willing to travel frequently across your region.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and result-driven.
- Able to deliver product training (support and guidance will be provided).
