About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance & Test Engineer to join our client team on a 3-month contract and this is an immediate joining opportunity. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our web apps, mobile apps, BI & Analytics dashboards, and infrastructure solutions. This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies and a collaborative environment to sharpen your QA and automation skills.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new features and fixes
- Perform both manual and automated functional & non-functional testing (performance, load, security, usability, etc.)
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Coordinate QA activities with Dev, BI, and Infra teams
- Document and report defects, provide feedback to developers, and track resolutions
- Advocate for best practices in testing and support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Degree/Diploma in IT or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in QA Manual Testing
- Understanding of QA methodologies and Agile practices (Azure DevOps Boards)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of software testing procedures (unit, integration, regression, smoke, UAT, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Microsoft Stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server)
- Exposure to mobile app testing (Xamarin, especially iOS) and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with cloud (Azure)
- TDD/BDD (SpecFlow, Gherkin)
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
