1. Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Development (BD)/Logistic Executive Assistance to support our executive team.
2. Key Responsibilities:
a. Administrative Support:
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments for logistics executives.
- Handling correspondence, phone calls, and emails related to logistics operations.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and documents related to logistics activities.
b. Supply Chain Coordination:
- Assisting in the coordination of supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that arise.
c. Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Liaising with vendors, suppliers, and logistics service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
d. Logistics Planning and Optimization:
- Assisting in logistics planning, including route planning, transportation modes selection, and warehouse management.
- Optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
e. Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
- Handling documentation related to shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
f. Data Management and Analysis:
- Maintaining and updating logistics databases and records.
- Analysing logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
g. Project Support:
- Supporting logistics-related projects, such as process improvements or system implementations.
- Coordinating project timelines, tasks, and deliverables within the logistics department.
3. Qualifications:
a. Education:
a. A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is typically required.

a. Organizational Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
b. Communication Skills:
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.

- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions in logistics operations.

- Thoroughness in handling logistics documentation and data accuracy.

5. Benefits:
