Job Description
The Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of issues across all properties. This includes electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, painting, cutting grass, and general repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of houses.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and wiring issues.
Handle plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing water fixtures.
Service, repair, and install air conditioning units.
Conduct painting and touch-up work to maintain aesthetic standards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
Coordinate with maintenance manager.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Requirements:
Proven experience in general maintenance, electrical wiring, plumbing, air conditioning service, and painting.
Relevant certifications in electrical or air conditioning (preferred).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Flexible and responsive, available for urgent or off-hour calls when needed.
Possess own transport and basic set of tools (preferred).
Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
