About the role
As a Tech Solutions Project/Product Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Igloo’s innovative insurtech offerings—enabling seamless product configuration, efficient distribution, operations management, and performance monitoring. You’ll bridge business needs with technical execution and ensure strategic alignment across cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Solution Design: Serve as the technical expert in pre-sales and discovery phases. You will assess customer requirements and design the overall technical solution, including system architecture, API integrations, and security considerations.
- Craft Technical Proposals: Act as a technical subject matter expert, partnering with the commercial team to develop compelling and technically sound proposals, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and other key business development documents.
- Own the Project Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end implementation of our tech solutions for clients, from initial requirement gathering and technical design to managing go-live and post-implementation support.
- Orchestrate Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including client technical teams, our engineers, and operations. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to manage project timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless technical delivery.
- Bridge Business and Technology: Translate high-level business needs into clear technical specifications and a prioritized product roadmap for our engineering and product teams.
- Measure and Optimize: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like adoption and operational efficiency to ensure project success and identify areas for future product improvement.
Requirements
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, product management, or solutions architecture, with a deep technical background in the software or technology industry.
- Proven experience working within a SaaS company, a system integrator, or another tech solution provider.
- Proven experience working with finance services and/or insurance companies.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile product development methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence.

- Exceptional Communication: Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build trust and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
- Strong Sense of Ownership: You are a proactive, results-oriented individual who takes full ownership of a project from start to finish, and who is highly adaptable to changing roles and requirements.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Trello.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration). A Project Management certification (PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
