Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives and reduce costs.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, purchase orders, and contract management.
- Identify reliable suppliers, establish long-term relationships, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply risks to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Production, Projects) to align purchasing needs.
- Lead and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Negotiate and manage contracts to secure favorable terms and minimize risk.
- Report procurement performance, savings, and supplier issues to management.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
