Job Description:
We are looking for a Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities for a valet and car park operations company. This role involves purchasing operations, vendor coordination, licensing renewals, asset tagging, and procurement documentation across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchasing Operations
- Source & compare quotations from vendors
- Raise PR & convert into approved PO
- Track delivery status and ensure timely site receipt
- Monitor recurring items (uniforms, cones, signage, tools, etc.)
- Ensure cost coding according to department or project
2. Vendor Coordination
- Maintain approved vendor records (license, SST, etc.)
- Liaise with suppliers on deliveries, issues, returns
- Evaluate vendor performance and support contract negotiation
- Ensure compliance with company vendor policies
3. Licensing Renewal
- Coordinate application/renewal of licenses (DBKL, MBPJ, etc.)
- Maintain master license register (expiry tracking & documentation)
- Liaise with local councils and building management
4. Asset Tagging & Site Asset Management
- Maintain central asset register (e.g., walkie-talkies, signage, PCs)
- Tag new items before site deployment
- Ensure complete data: item name, vendor, PO, cost, assigned site
- Perform site verification and assist during audit
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper filing of PRs, POs, DOs, invoices & vendor records
- Update Purchase Order Log & procurement reports
- Provide documents for payments, audits & SST review
- Track asset movements and license status
6. SOP & Compliance
- Enforce internal procurement SOPs (including “No PO, No Payment” policy)
- Flag irregular quotations or unauthorized purchases
- Educate departments on procurement flow
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Business Admin, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in procurement/logistics/facility support
- Strong attention to detail, documentation & communication skills
- Able to liaise with site supervisors and external vendors
- Knowledge of license coordination is an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
