Overview of the job
The role focuses primarily on legal and corporate secretarial duties. We are willing to train motivated individuals with solid critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, strong communication capabilities (both oral and written). We are looking for someone with a zest for creativity and passion for learning in the blockchain space!
Your team
You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel based in Singapore.
How success looks like
Success in the role will require you to help drive business results in legal department by legal and corporate secretarial expertise, creative problem solving, critical thinking, and good communication skills to offer stakeholders clear explanation of basic legal and corporate secretarial issues. The job requires someone who is meticulous, has an eye for detail and someone who can work under pressure by effectively handling deadlines and occasional high-volume work.
Responsibilities of the role
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for corporate secretarial duties, including but not limited to helping with company incorporations, preparation of directors’/shareholders’ resolutions, working closely with retainer corporate secretarial service providers
- Collating materials for and drafting of corporate secretarial documents, drafting simple letters.
- Assist to manage contract signing and documentation within the legal depository.
- Assist with ad hoc matters as and when delegated by the Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel.
Other administrative responsibilities:
- Organize Meetings: align schedule, handle logistics, assist in the preparation of meeting summary and agenda, circulate meeting materials.
- Provide administrative support for the organizing and running of trainings.
- Update legal depository database
- Liaise with Business Unit Finance when payment issues arise.
- Keep up with technology advancements and look for opportunities to improve / simplify processes within Legal (e.g., record management, use of collaboration tools, identifying tech/database training needs.
Job Qualifications
Role Requirements
- Tertiary education
- At least 3 to 4 years of legal experience in a law firm or in an in-house legal department would be preferred
- Prior corporate secretariat experience preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities
- Excellent verbal, reading and written communication skills; fluent in English and Mandarin.

Job Schedule
Full time on Singapore standard work hours and days, remotely from Malaysia
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
