Job Summary:
Responsible for the strategy, leadership, and overall performance of the debt collection division. The Operations Manager ensures all teams operate effectively, achieve set KPIs, and comply with professional standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of all debt collection teams
- Plan and implement collection strategies and policies
- Set performance targets and monitor team achievements
- Ensure compliance with industry laws, internal policies, and client requirements
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement improvements
- Prepare operational and financial reports for top management
- Collaborate with HR in recruitment, training, and retention of quality workforce
- Liaise with clients on operational matters and performance reviews
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years' experience in debt collection, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills
- In-depth understanding of debt collection laws and practices in Malaysia
