The company helps clients buy and sell currencies (Forex) and other financial instruments like commodities, stocks, and indices through CFDs (Contracts for Difference). These products allow traders to speculate on price movements without actually owning the underlying assets.
As a broker, they provide the technology, tools, and support traders need to make informed decisions — including market analysis, real-time pricing, secure transactions, and customer service.
Our client is regulated by the Financial Services Authority in Seychelles and United Kingdom.
The Marketing Manager role will lead our marketing efforts within Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Reporting directly to the ASIA Marketing Manager, this role will be instrumental in developing and executing localized marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement within the company. The role will have a strong emphasis on content creation and a deep understanding of country-specific trends.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing), traditional marketing (where relevant), partnerships, and events.
Content Creation:
- Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging content tailored to the local audience, including blog posts, social media updates, videos, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce content that aligns with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
- Ensure all content is culturally relevant and effectively localized for the target market, considering language, regulations, and local preferences.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer insights within the region.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future strategies.
- Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to continuously improve campaign performance.
Localization & Adaptation:
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns are culturally relevant and effectively localized for the region, considering language, regulations, and local preferences.
- Collaborate with local teams to adapt global strategies to fit regional nuances and market conditions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, product, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and synergy across all marketing initiatives.
- Partner with external agencies and vendors to enhance campaign execution and performance.
Performance Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track and visualize performance metrics.
Compliance & Regulatory Awareness:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape within the Forex and Financial Services industry, ensuring all marketing activities adhere to relevant guidelines.
Event Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, and promotional events.
- Ensure events are aligned with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of events, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies within the chosen region.
- Significant experience within the Forex or CFD Trading brokerage industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of the region's market, including cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and media landscapes.
- Proficiency in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in the local language and English is essential.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
