Job Summary
The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, brand communications, and promotional activities to enhance the hotel’s visibility, drive revenue, and strengthen market positioning. This role manages advertising, digital marketing, public relations, media partnerships, and ensures brand consistency across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Branding
- Develop and implement the hotel’s annual marketing and communications plan.
- Ensure brand standards are consistently applied across all marketing materials and platforms.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all advertising campaigns, promotions, and marketing events.
- Produce creative content (brochures, flyers, videos, social media posts) in line with brand identity.
Digital Marketing & Online Presence
- Manage the hotel’s website, social media accounts, and online content updates.
- Monitor online reviews and reputation on platforms (TripAdvisor, Google, OTAs).
- Develop and execute SEO/SEM strategies to improve online visibility.
- Track digital marketing performance and analyze ROI of campaigns.
Public Relations & Communications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare press releases, newsletters, and corporate communications.
- Organize press conferences, media visits, and hotel promotional events.
- Act as brand spokesperson when required.
Sales & Business Support
- Work closely with Sales to develop promotional packages, seasonal campaigns, and partnerships.
- Support revenue generation through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with F&B, Spa, and other departments for promotions and special events.
Administration & Reporting
- Manage the department budget and ensure cost-effective marketing activities.
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities, PR coverage, and digital performance.
- Keep management updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
