Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester with a strong background in the banking domain. The candidate will be responsible for preparing test cases, executing test cycles, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to design effective test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of banking applications, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or HP ALM.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in root cause analysis of production issues.
- Document test results and prepare clear and concise testing reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing, with at least 2 years in the banking domain.
- Strong understanding of banking workflows such as payments, loans, deposits, core banking, or digital banking platforms.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, QC).
- Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
