Role Overview
The Interpretation Support (Mandarin/English) will be responsible for providing real-time interpretation between US-based healthcare professionals and patients. This is a full-time, onsite role in Cyberjaya with permanent night shifts. The position starts with a 2-month contract and may be extended to a 12-month renewable contract upon successful training completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time interpretation between doctors and patients to ensure clear and accurate communication.
- Handle both interpretation and customer support functions as required by the project.
- Accurately translate and interpret audio conversations in Mandarin and English.
- Deliver professional, empathetic, and confidential support in all communications.
- Maintain consistent performance in a high-volume, night-shift environment.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written) with strong English proficiency.
- Minimum SPM/Diploma qualification (Bachelor’s degree holders welcome).
- Open to fresh graduates and experienced candidates in interpretation, translation, or customer service.
- Willingness to work onsite in Cyberjaya, Monday to Friday.
- Comfortable with permanent night shift (10 PM – 7 AM) schedules.
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000+ (inclusive of allowances)
- Basic salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,000
- Transportation allowance: RM 500/month (pro-rated)
- Night shift allowance: RM 25/night (approx. RM 550/month)
- Day shift allowance: RM 20/day

- Medical Insurance: In-patient coverage up to USD 80,000; out-patient up to USD 250 (for self, spouse, and children).

- Annual leave: 10 days (first 2 years), 12 days (after 2 years).

- Regular Saturday & Sunday off (Monday–Friday work week).
