Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities within a manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production efficiency. This includes leading a team of maintenance technicians, planning preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance team in the daily operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of production machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize machine uptime and reduce unplanned outages.
- Coordinate with production supervisors and engineers to prioritize maintenance work and support continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, including labor, spare parts inventory, and capital projects.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for specialized services, parts, and equipment.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify recurring issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred; technical diploma with significant experience may be acceptable.
- Experience: 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment such as crane, chiller, etc.
- Solid understanding of industrial safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, TPM, OEE).
- Experience with PLCs and automated control systems.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SysPro, SAP, Oracle) for maintenance and inventory integration.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
