Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Lecturer to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business Statistics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics . The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum development, conduct impactful research, and provide academic guidance to students pursuing studies in economics and business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver interactive lectures and tutorials covering topics such as national income, inflation, monetary and fiscal policy, market structures, consumer behavior, and business decision-making models.
- Teach statistical principles and tools, including descriptive and inferential statistics, data analysis techniques, and statistical software applications relevant to business contexts.
- Develop course materials, assignments, and exams that meet academic standards and learning outcomes.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback to support learning and improvement.
- Conduct and publish research in areas related to economics and business statistics, and actively participate in academic conferences or seminars.
- Mentor students on academic progress, research projects, and career development opportunities.
- Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum review and improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, faculty activities, and institutional objectives.
