We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Account Executive to support the finance team in managing daily accounting tasks, with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and general ledger functions. The role also provides assistance in HR administration such as payroll data compilation. This position is ideal for candidates with a basic foundation in accounting who are eager to learn and grow into a full-scope accounting role.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Track customer payments and update AR ledger.
- Help prepare AR aging reports.
- Reconcile recorded collections with actual payments received.
General Accounting Support:
- Record basic transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) into accounting system.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and monthly closing tasks.
- Help maintain proper documentation for accounting records.
- Support preparation of audit files and schedules.
HR Admin & Payroll Assistance:
- Collect and compile staff attendance & OT.
- Support payroll calculation by preparing required input data (attendance reports, OT, allowance, deductions, prorate salary & statutory contributions)
- Help generate pay slips and staff reports.
Other Admin & Finance Duties:
- Filing and organizing accounting documents.
- Data entry and checking supporting documents (invoice, DO, CN, etc.).
- Assist with any ad-hoc finance or HR-related tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting or internship experience in related fields.
- Skills: (1) Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debit/credit, general ledger). (2) Familiar with MS Excel and preferably one accounting software (e.g., SQL). (3) Willingness to learn and improve.
- Attitude: (1) Detail-oriented and organized. (2) Responsible and dependable with strong time management. (3) Able to work in a team and take instructions.
- Language: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
