We are looking for a passionate and resourceful individual to work in planning and executing Japanese food-related events, as well as sourcing authentic Japanese food products. This role requires strong planning, coordination, and sourcing skills—plus a love for Japanese cuisine and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Japanese food events (e.g., food fairs, promotional events, culinary showcases).
- Source authentic Japanese food ingredients and products from local and international suppliers.
- Work closely with vendors, partners, chefs, and logistics teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Develop event themes, concepts, and proposals based on market trends and consumer interests.
- Prepare budgets and manage cost control for both events and product sourcing.
- Build and maintain relationships with Japanese food suppliers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and design teams for event promotions and branding.
- Stay updated on Japanese food trends and new products in the market.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Food Science, or related fields.
- Experience in food event planning, food sourcing, or F&B project management is highly preferred.
- Strong interest and knowledge in Japanese food and culture.
- Excellent project coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to multitask, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to speak Japanese is an added advantage.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
