Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Intern to join our CAMO Planning team at AirAsia X. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance planning and control systems, contributing to the operational excellence of one of the region’s leading long-haul low-cost carriers.
Learn and understand the core functions of the Planning Department within CAMO, as defined in the CAME and EPM Volume 4.
Shadow and support Planning Executives in their day-to-day operations.
Assist in reporting completed line and base maintenance activities into the AMOS system.
Support monthly filing of completed task cards and documentation.
Help review, track, and monitor spare parts requisitions and work card requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Planning Manager in support of departmental goals.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation, or related field (Recognized institution).
Experience
No prior working experience required.
Skills & Competencies
Strong interest in aviation maintenance and planning
Good communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to AMOS system is a bonus
Eagerness to learn and take initiative
