Formtri Idea is looking for an experienced and passionate Project Designer (2–5 years’ experience) who is creative, dedicated, and eager to grow with our team in design & build including the cabinetry and custom carpentry industry.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in cabinet/custom furniture design is an advantage
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of handling site projects effectively
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams
Job Scope:
- Prepare design proposals, layout plans, and technical drawings (including sketches, 3D and 2D visuals)
- Propose and design new concepts based on client requirements
- Recommend construction materials, color schemes, and carpentry details
- Manage and coordinate projects from concept to installation stage and go to site visit project
- Work closely and report directly with project manager
- Meet with clients to understand and interpret their design needs
- Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are met
