The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.
Responsibilities
- Able to handle full consultancy work from conceptual presentation to project completion to reporting.
- Able to provide professional advice on space planning, design conceptualization, material proposal and theme or color scheme.
- To liaise with clients and development team for a better understanding of requirement prior to the commencement of interior design work.
- Able to create visuals, design layout, detailed drawings, 3D drawing and as-built drawing.
- Possesses high level area creative 2D and 3D skills for interior design and sample boards.
- To prepare visuals, project costing and material selection.
- Able to Work closely and have meetings with Suppliers and Sub-Contractors
- Perform site visits for supervision of quality control and have understanding in renovation and site issues
- Maintain Industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architect or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese is an added advantage
- Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, 3Dsmax, VRAY, SketchUp
- 1 - 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
