The job scope of an Interior 3D Visualiser primarily revolves around creating realistic and accurate 3D visual representations of interior design concepts. These visuals help clients, architects, and designers understand how a space will look before it is built or renovated.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling:
- Create detailed and accurate 3D models of interior spaces using software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, etc.
- Model furniture, fixtures, fittings, lighting, and decorative elements.
- Texturing & Materials:
- Apply realistic materials, finishes, and textures to models.
- Match textures to design specifications (e.g., wood, metal, marble, fabric).
- Lighting Setup:
- Simulate natural and artificial lighting conditions.
- Adjust lighting to enhance the realism and mood of the visuals.
- Rendering:
- Produce high-quality renders using V-Ray, Enscape, or other rendering engines.
- Ensure correct camera angles, perspective, and image composition.
- Post-Production:
- Use software like Adobe Photoshop for touch-ups and enhancements.
- Add human figures, plants, or other assets for context and presentation.
- Collaboration with Design Teams:
- Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to understand project goals.
- Translate sketches, plans, and design briefs into 3D visuals.
- Presentation:
- Prepare presentation boards or digital visual packages for client meetings.
- Sometimes create 360° panoramic views or walkthrough animations.
- Revision Work:
