Our customer base is composed of Restaurants, Hotels, Independent Delicatessens, Retailers and prestigious Food Halls.
Repertoire Culinaire is part of a family-controlled group whose origins lie in the production of premium Charcuterie, Foie Gras and other Delicatessen products in France.
Post description
- Import Operations
- Manage end-to-end import processes, including purchase orders, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery to warehouses.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian import regulations, halal requirements, food safety standards, and cold-chain procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and authorities to secure timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Logistics Coordination
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager to align import schedules with warehouse capacity and local distribution needs.
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and customs documents.
- Cost & Performance Control
- Optimize freight, duty, and handling costs without compromising quality.
- Support negotiations with shipping and logistics providers.
- Provide regular reporting on lead times, import costs, and operational efficiency.
- Internal Collaboration
- Liaise with the Procurement & Key Accounts Director on sourcing timelines and supplier follow-up.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure product availability.
Support group-level reporting and compliance requests
Profile required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in import/export or logistics, preferably in food & beverage or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian import regulations, customs procedures, and halal compliance.
- Hands-on experience with freight forwarding, cold chain, and perishable goods handling.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Good communication in English.
