About the role
Join the dynamic and growing team at Primiertel Sdn Bhd as a Human Resources Officer. In this full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's human resources functions and contributing to the overall success of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Coordinating employee benefits, leave management, and other HR-related administrative tasks
- Providing HR support and guidance to employees and managers on a range of people-related matters
- Collaborating with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Assisting with the organisation of HR-related events, workshops, and training programs
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and regulations in Malaysia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
- Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
