The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, replenish room supplies, and clean bathrooms.
- Vacuum, mop, and dust rooms and public areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Follow safety and hygiene procedures while using cleaning supplies.
- Replenish cleaning materials and guest amenities as needed.
- Assist in laundry operations if required.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or special cleaning assignments.
- Ensure guest privacy and hotel security at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or able to communicate in basic English or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or cleaning service is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Detail-oriented, honest, and hardworking.
- Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Willing to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
