We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the housekeeping operations at our resort.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and supervise the housekeeping team.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring the department is adequately staffed.
- Motivate and assess the performance of housekeeping personnel.
- Establish and enforce cleaning procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.
- Take corrective actions to resolve any cleanliness issues.
- Oversee the management of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain inventory control to support operational needs.
- Develop and manage the housekeeping department’s budget.
- Control expenses while maintaining high-quality cleaning standards.
- Address guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Ensure that guest requests for additional services are handled promptly.
- Work closely with departments like the front office, maintenance, and others.
- Coordinate with the front office to prioritize room assignments and cleaning tasks.
- Provide continuous training on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
- Update and enhance training programs as needed.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistency.
- Monitor and improve environmental sustainability practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Experience with budgeting and inventory management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Hands-on and action-oriented approach to managing operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
