Do you have a passion for interior design and the drive to sell?
We are looking for an Interior Designer who can turn ideas into reality — from concept design to closing deals with property owners. This role blends creativity with business, giving you the chance to grow your income through commissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell interior design packages to property owners (homestay, Airbnb, residential)
- Estimate and prepare costing packages based on site inspections and budgets
- Create mood boards and design concepts to match client requirements
- Conduct materials research & comparison to recommend best options
- Source and procure suppliers/contractors (including China suppliers) and negotiate pricing
- Supervise on-site work to ensure quality and deadlines are met
- Execute styling on-site, ensuring final outcome matches the agreed concept
- Maintain project documentation, quotations, and reports
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in interior design projects (not just internship)
- Strong knowledge of costing, materials, and supplier sourcing
- Confident in sales and presentation — able to pitch and close owners
- Strong organization skills — keep storerooms, files, and documents tidy
- Proficient in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written) — must liaise with China suppliers
- Fluent in English & BM
