Role Purpose:

The Head, Business Strategy & Development steers Setel’s strategic vision by

leveraging advanced AI and data analytics capabilities to shape the company’s growth trajectory. This role is pivotal in orchestrating market analysis, portfolio strategy, and high-value decision-making processes to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

In This Role You Will:

• Champion the development of Setel’s strategic blueprint by synthesizing complex market trends, competitor intelligence, and emerging business opportunities to position Setel for long-term success.
• Direct and oversee the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances and partnerships to drive growth beyond traditional boundaries.
• Spearhead the strategic direction and governance of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development by defining portfolio priorities and endorsing business cases, in order to ensure a consistent pipeline of transformative opportunities that drive Setel’s growth and competitive advantage.
• Position Setel as an industry thought leader by engaging with key stakeholders, policy makers and external partners to influence industry standards and foster collaborative innovation.
• Act as strategic advisor and advise senior leadership and the board by analyzing complex data and providing actionable insights to shape strategic priorities and investment decisions; Facilitate high-level discussion on corporate strategy, ensuring robust preparation and analysis to support decision-making.
• Lead and drive Setel's digital technology strategy by leveraging emerging trends and technologies, conducting industry benchmarking, and using data analytics to enhance decision-making and strengthen Setel's competitive position, while ensuring digital governance and innovation to maintain relevance in the digital ecosystem.
• Oversee the implementation of predictive models and data-driven frameworks to enhance decision-making, foster innovation and mitigate risks while driving innovation across strategic and operational processes.
• Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
• Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
  
  

You're A Great Fit If You Have:

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in strategic planning, corporate development or management consulting field, preferably in Fintech or financial services industry.
• Proven track record in driving business growth and delivering successful market expansion initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Corporate Finance, Economics or equivalent fields.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
