The Halal Executive is responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and operations comply with the halal standards as outlined by JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia). This includes managing the halal certification process, liaising with certification bodies, training staff, and conducting internal audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company’s Halal Assurance System (HAS).
- Liaise with JAKIM/JAIJ, Halal Development Corporation (HDC), and other relevant authorities for halal certification and renewal.
- Maintain and update halal documentation, including ingredient lists, supplier information, and production processes.
- Conduct internal halal audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Coordinate halal training programs for employees across departments.
- Evaluate and verify raw materials and suppliers for halal compliance.
- Investigate and report any non-compliance or potential halal-related issues.
- Serve as the Halal Committee Secretary and facilitate meetings.
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging for halal products.
- Keep abreast of halal standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Monitor the Halal Technicians / Slaughterman on their attendance, duty, training or Sijil Pentauliahan Penyembelihan.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
